దేవానంద్ నిర్మించి నటించిన 'తేరే ఘర్ కె సామ్నే' చిత్రం 1963 లో రిలీజైంది.ఈ సినిమాలో మహమ్మద్ రఫీ గళంలో నుంచి జాలువారిన మధుర గీతాలలో ఇదొక సుమధురగీతం.ఈ పాటలో దేవానంద్ నూతన్ నటించారు.దీనిని తీసిన విధానం కూడా ఎంతో హృద్యంగా ఉంటుంది.అసలీ పాటని కుతుబ్ మినార్ లో తీద్దామని దేవానంద్ ఊహించాడు.కానీ ఆ ఇరుకు మెట్లమీద షూటింగ్ కష్టమని స్టూడియోలో కుతుబ్ మినార్ సెట్ వేసి ఈ పాటని చిత్రీకరించారు.అయినా సరే పాట ఎంతో సహజంగా వచ్చింది.మనకు తెలియకపోతే అది కుతుబ్ మినార్ అనే అనుకుంటాము.
ఈ పాట పాడుతుంటే 'ప్లేటో' చెప్పిన సూక్తి ఒకటి గుర్తొచ్చింది.

--ప్లేటోఈ పాటలో కవి 'తూ మేరె సాకి యారే' అంటూ ఒక పదాన్ని వాడాడు.ఉమర్ ఖయ్యాం పక్కన అతనికి మధుపాత్రలో మధువు పొయ్యడానికి ఒక నెచ్చెలి ఉంటుంది.ఆమె పేరు సాకీ.ఉత్త మధువు త్రాగితే ఖయ్యాంకు మత్తు రాదు.సాకీ చేతితో పోసినప్పుడే ఆ మధువుకు కమ్మదనం వస్తుంది.అప్పుడు ఆ మధువు మత్తు ఎన్నో రెట్లు పెరుగుతుంది.
ఆమె కళ్ళలోకి చూస్తూ ఆ మధువును త్రాగితే కలిగే మత్తు అనిర్వచనీయంగా ఉంటుంది.ఆ మత్తులో మునిగి ఉండటమే నిజమైన ఆధ్యాత్మికత.
అదే సమాధి స్థితి.
"నీ సమక్షంలో నాకు అంత మత్తు కలుగుతున్నది" అనే భావాన్ని ప్రతిబింబింప చేస్తూ కవి ఈ పదాన్ని వాడాడు.అద్భుతమైన ప్రేమభావాన్ని ఎంత చక్కగా హస్రత్ జైపురి వ్రాశాడో అంతే మధురంగా పాడి తన గానంతో ఈ పాటకు జీవం పోశాడు అమరగాయకుడు మహమ్మద్ రఫీ.
